Roller Shutter Door Seal

The RSDS 3001 Roller Shutter Door Seal is a durable, flexible sealing profile designed to be fitted to the bottom edge or side of roller shutter doors to block drafts, water, dust, insects and noise. Manufactured from robust elastomers (commonly EPDM), this shutter seal combines a compressible hollow bulb with a firm mounting leg to provide a tight, weatherproof barrier while allowing smooth door movement.

Profile shape: Hollow bulb / D-shape seal with a flat mounting leg (fits into bottom channels or can be bolted/adhesively fixed).

Flexible & compressible: Provides good compression recovery and long-term sealing against uneven floors.

Weatherproof: Excellent resistance to rain, wind, dust and temperature changes (EPDM rated for outdoor use).

Installation Notes:

Slide the mounting leg into the shutter’s bottom channel.

Trim to length with a sharp knife.

Ensure the door sits level when closed so the bulb compresses evenly—avoid over-compression which shortens life.
